What are the dosing and frequency guidelines for SerestoĀ® for Dogs?
The SerestoĀ®Ā collar is for use on puppies and dogs 7 weeks of age and older, making it easy to protect dogs from fleas and ticks for eight continuous months. SerestoĀ®Ā for small dogs is designed for dogs up to 18 lbs. (8 kg); SerestoĀ®Ā for large dogs is designed for dogs over 18 lbs. (8 kg).
Under normal conditions, effectiveness lasts for eight months. In order to maintain an eight-month duration, dogs must not be bathed more than once per month. For dogs who swim once a month or more, the control duration is reduced to five months for flea control and reduced to seven months for tick control.
