Grass, Scout™ Maiden Grass
Scout Maiden Grass is a fast growing variegated ornamental grass with narrow light green foliage and a fine white mid-ridge that turns straw-beige by winter. Airy tassel-like creamy pink plumes bloom above the foliage in late summer and mature to brownish-red in fall and persist into winter. Best color in full sun and moist well-drained soil.  The flowers are non-fertile so it does not spread.
