Euphorbia x martinii 'Ascot Rainbow' - Ascot Rainbow Spurge

Euphorbia x martinii 'Ascot Rainbow' - Ascot Rainbow Spurge

Ascot Rainbow Spurge is a compact herbaceous evergreen perennial that grows in open mounds.  The stems sport narrow whorls of variegated foliage with grey-green centers and yellow margins that earn a pink to orange flush in fall.  Tiny deep red flowers surrounded by yellow and green striped brackets bloom all summer attracting bees and butterflies.  Best shape in full sun and dry, well-drained soils.  Good drought tolerance.  Broken stems have a milky white sap that can cause significant skin irritation if allergic to latex.
